I remember a month ago or so, there were some replies to a post about some one having a problem with XP being extremely slow while booting up. I saw one or two replies about changing some of the network settings (I have DSL) to fix that. Well, I changed those, and it worked great. But I must have tweaked something to undo those changes. For the life of me, I cannot remember what those changes were, nor can I find anything anywhere about that. Can someone help me out with this? It takes like 2 or 3 mins to get booted.
Thx in advance guys.

If you're on DLS, take the NIC in your box off DHCP.
Put in an IP of 10.0.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0 in the TCP/IP settings.

Also, look up bootvis.exe on Microsoft's site. It is a boot time optimizer and works to good effect.
