xp shut down window

i just noticed on my new computer that when i go to shut down the little window with the shutdown options is the old pulldown list,not the newer one with the 3 buttons,standby/turn off/restart.i've got all the newest windows updates and .net framework 1.1.

am i missing something,or did something get turned off by default for some reason?it's not that big a deal i guess,im just wondering why my other xp systems have the new shutdown window and this one doesnt.

Try this.
Start / control panel / user accounts / user accounts / change the way users log on or off , check the box for use welcome screen.
