Hi. I was wondering if anyone new the command line of the program that shuts off the monitors thru the power management in Windows XP. I used to just use the "blank" screen saver executable, but I would rather just be able to shut off my monitors completely. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance.

I've got 2. Not to mention my monitor switches are harder to push down then pressing a hotkey on my keyboard.

Thanks. I'm gonna see if there is a way inside windows before trying to use another executable that resides in the system tray. But thanks

Can't be THAT energy consuming, could it?

If you must know. I have a home alarm system w/ multiple motion sensors. These sensors detect light I assume. I rather not have a blank screensaver going and then all of a sudden a pop up window (AIM, Norton, etc.) open and turn on my screens. I've come home several times with my alarm blaring, only to find out that my screensaver cut out because of a pop up window.

I'm trying to find this command line so that i can program it into one of the buttons on my keyboard, thus making it convinient. Oh well.
