XP setup problem

HI,
I have the really annoying problem of xP getting to the "setup is installing windows" stage then the computer hangs and after 5 mins comes to a stop screen 0x0000007b, ive disabled acpi and dont have any scsi equipment, and just a graphics card installed, any ideas what the problem could be.

Is your computer overclocked? I received the same errors when I attempted to run the XP setup while my computer is overclocked. Clock anything that is overclocked in your computer to default speed and then run the setup program again. Worked like a charm for me.

Afterwards you can overclock your hardware again. I did and I've not had any problems so far.
