XP Service Packs Released

I have seen mention of a bunch of XP SP's already.

Anyone know if they are posted on some of the sites that had powertoys, etc?

TIA

There is no service pack for XP. What is floating around is just a collection of hotfixes for specific problems. If they apply to your particular installation, you'll see them on the windows update page.

A few sites out there have links to hotfixes on a microsoft ftp server, however these arent an official service pack yet

It's just a leaked pre-release beta of SP1. It's not final yet, and it's not officially released... nor will it be for quite some time yet.

I think you are referring to the ones on Windows Update. They released a bunch of them, when I went through Windows Update XP found 9 new updates. To run the Windows Update go to Start > Help & Support > Keep My Computer Up To Date. The biggest fix that I see is that there is finally a good driver for the SB Live. There is also a critical update package and some other software updates.

Well, I have not installed XP...yet. I may just leave the updates alone for now.
