Guys,

an xp final cd just kinds *poped* up in my hands the other day. Can anyone tell me where I can find an activation number for *temp* use? The ones i have tried don't seem to work for my build. Anyone have suggestions and/or links?

I've heard people have had luck calling microsoft customer service. It worked for my friends and me, honest. All you have to do is tell them you had the nimda virus and someone planted it on your hard drive and they'll feel sorry for you and won't make you pay.

I don't understand how someone could go through the hassle of downloading a 550 meg file and not being able to locate a few byte string to install it
