XP security tab question.......

How do you get the Security Tab to appear when you right click a file then go to properties?

I figured out how to get the security tab to appear........but is there a way for files that were put on a public network drive to not have a security tab? For example, if I put a file on this network drive and I didn't want other people to know I put it there, how can I do this?

I dont know, but here are some thoughts:

Can you change the permissions to not allow anyone but yourself to read it? Can you put it in a folder and do the same for that folder? Can you set the hide attribute on the file (does this still exist? )?

People that don't have read access from either Share permissions or NTFS permissions cant see the file/folder.
