XP + Roxio 6 created driver issues.. help.. [fixed]

I installed Roxio Ez CD Creator 6 onto Windows XP last week. Windows said it had some driver issues with it and that I should go to the roxio website and update the software. So I updated all of the software and the popup driver conflict message still came up.

Now, I uninstalled Roxio 6, BUT the driver conflict message still pops up. Does anybody know how to fix this?

(nevermind) I TRIED to fixed it. I renamed the conflicting drivers, then uninstalled the device and restarted the computer. I guess Windows XP doesn't like to RE-install drivers if they already exist in the directory, since I did try uninstalling them before and it didn't work. 😛

edit: I'M WRONG. IT DIDN'T WORK. The message doesn't come up anymore, BUT neither does the optical drives (CDRW or DVD). The drives don't work anymore. When I rename the files back, they work again. However, I get the driver message from windows again. BTW, the drives do work. I just want to get rid of the pop-up status messages.

FINAL edit: I fixed it. I just got a copy of the drivers from a friend and overwrote mine. No more problems.
