XP/ router network help needed

okay, i live in a house with 7 other guys. we have roadrunner and a network hub, which me and two others use (we each have static IPs) , everyone else uses a router coming out of the hub, and they split the last IP.
now, me and the other two guys can see each other over the network, but we cant see anyone on the router
can someone tell me how to set up a network such that everyone can see each other?
 
Sounds like the router's working great. I'm sure you could probably open a whole bunch of ports so that everyone outside can see in, but then you defeat the purpose of th e router...
 
you guys are essentially on 2 different networks, the network behind the router is in its own subnet (lan) and your computers with real ips are part of the WAN.
