Well, I love this feature in XP, and its alot faster than WinVNC!!!

Except, I have to get the other machine to ask for help, then I have to goto the other machine and accept the help. Blah, blah, alot of clicks here and there, and im finally in.

Is there another way of doing this? I mean setting up my XP Pro on machine 1 to be the host (computer that is controlled) with a password, and everytime its booted, will accept incoming connections?

And the guest PC, just has to click Remote Assitance/Remote Desktop Connection, and hey presto, straight in?

Any help, espically walk thrus, greatly appricated!

Come on guys, I know people have got more than 1 machine, and I know people have got either XP or W2k install on there. Someone must have done this before.

Share your experiences! :(

That is it.

I can control my XP machine and Win2K Adv server machine in the computer room from a Win2K pro machine in the bedroom.

Ok, got it working via the Icon in Accessories, and using the web browser.

My question is now, how can I jump into the session that is currently active. I cannot.

What I can do, is start a new session, however it means closing all the programs in the old session, and this is not what I want to do.

Can ne1 help..

Cheers!
