XP refresh rate, and some games run choppy...

Hey, well I upgraded to XP about 3 weeks ago and my refresh rate (Like when I leave a game and it comes back to my desktop) is VERY slow, like 3 seconds

My refresh rate on the desktop is on 100hz / 32bit... I have tried the others, still the same result

I have a Geforce3, and I have installed the "Refresh Rate Fixer"
And I also have the newest drivers for XP (21.83)

I have also noticed some games that ran very smooth on ME, are bad running on XP... Rainbow 6, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon


Anyone know what's going on? If this problem can't be fixed, I'm going back to ME

let's see... I have a GeForce 2 GTS and I remember at first games sucked bootay, cause I tried to play ONI and it was so slow that it was unaccaptable, I changed a setting somewhere and everything was fast and good... I think maybe it was a setting for the card? or the monitor? don't remember which

I remember that it was so choppy that the game was practically unplayable.. don't remember what I did to fix though.. play around with the settings, they should work
