XP Reboots on Shutdown?

Hey. When I reboot my XP machine, it reboots. It will work as if it's shutting down, but instead of turning off again it clicks and suddenly the BIOS is booting up again. The only way I can turn off my machine is to cut it off just before the BIOS. I know this problem is pretty well documented, but I haven't caught any fixes for it. I have the most current drivers and Windows Updates. My rig is below. Thanks.

I had this problem under Win 2k and found that one or more of my hardware drivers did not have the microsoft "digital signature" and was not compatible with the O.S. I have built many a puter and have yet to have all my hardware drivers "digitally signed." Most of the time the "digital signature" is not critical, but once in a while it does cause a problem. Did you check to make sure you have your mobo's latest bios update ? This is critical.

Good luck

I fixed it 🙂. My friend had me update EZCD Creator, of all things, and that fixed it 🙂. Thanks for your help.
