xp question - 2 installs

episodic

Lifer
Ok, I have a c and d drive

On the d drive, I keep backups of data on the c drive - I have tons of room left.

I want to install windows xp again on the d drive.

I booted my xp install disc. It seems like it will let me install on the d drive again without affecting the c drive

It even gives me the option to format the d drive or to "install in the current filesystem"

If I install in the current filesystem, it will simply make a windows folder and install it there correct (without damaging data on that drive)?

Also, will xp give me a bootloader to let me decide which xp I can boot into?

I've dual booted linux before, but never 2 xp at the same time.

Thanks. ..
