XP profile issues on domain

I have a domain set up with server NT as a primary domain controller. I have XP boxes connected to it. The logins all work correctly, netwok resources are all available, and it autenticates normally, but it does not save everything. I can move icons and their placement is correct, but when I try to change the wallpaper, when I log off and back on, the desktop reverts back to the origional default screen. IS there something I am missing?
