This is kind of a weird problem, its not that big but gets annoying once in awhile. My xp taskbar and minimized windows would randomly stop responding after awhile. I click them and nothign happens, then after maybe 20 secs, the window comes out again. I don't know if this is my hardware.
My specs are
ECS k7vta3 mobo
512 mb kingston ddr 333
geforce 4 ti 4200 Gainward
athlon xp 2000+
lite on 40X
pioneer 16X dvd
Any other people out there with similar problems? I don't think its not enough memory cuz windows manager says i still have about 60% memory unused. I stumped here. . . Thanx

Your rig looks like it has enough power to support all the bells and whistles that XP offers. But just to see if it really does, try turning off all the bubbly stuff and change it back to Windows classic and see if that helps.

I have seen similar things on another box I have. It seemed like it was either hard disk or network related. So, you might look to make sure you have the latest BusMastering IDE drivers loaded, and see if you have some sort of wierd network driver and/or adapter loaded.

Just make sure you have the latest Drivers for your MoBo. If your MoBo has a VIA chipset, make sure you are running the latest 4 in 1.
