my fresh XP Pro install on new drive (IBM 40.1 GB 7200) worked initially without any glitches, now a few have appeared:
sometimes the taskbar won't hide itself until I open it's properties - without changing anything
sometimes won't let me login (no password being used). Just gets to Welcome screen, then a few secs later says it's having probs with licensing, and presents me with login icon. I click it and same thing again - have to manually reboot. Still have 15 days left before need to register it.
Zone Alarm (latest version) also has had a few hiccups initialising on startup
No weird software loaded
any ideas?
