I just did a fresh install, on my sata hardrive WD80gig, on an nf7-sv2 board, the windows load screen will flash by and then boom, blue screen windows stopped loading do to possible corruption of your hardrive, did you just install new hd controllers or drivers, run chkdsk f, the hardive may be corrupted, or virus what not. What the hell should I do I have tried a clean install, in ntfs 4 times now, same damn problem, this is a brand new oem hd. Any help would be great, and how the hell do you run chkdsk.

Yes, I also have it slipstreamed to my xpwithsp2, but I have tried both xpsp1, and xpsp2, and my normal straight from microsoft xp cd, no luck, loaded all new drivers. It couldnt be memory right? I ran memtest to 53 percent then stopped it, and with no problems.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage check for viruses run, chkdskf , etc....

Is anything overclocked? What kind of RAM? Maybe remove all components except what you need to boot and try it? These are my first suggestions...
