XP Pro Vs Win2k Pro for LAN party server

Is there an advantage to going with one OS over the other for a LAN party server?

What is it used for at Lan parties? Fileserver/gameserver/whatever?

they're both pretty much the same as a server, just that xp has more bloat. i'll vote for 2k, but xp will work just fine.
