XP Pro on 2 Computers and Win2k on 1.

The Win2k computer can access the shared folder on one of the Win XP Pro machines but when you try and view the workgroup computers on either of XP machines, I get an error saying WORKGROUP not accessible.

How do you resolve this? Tried going through guides but not working...

The only exerience that I have had similar to this is my laptop/desktop, both on XP Pro, wouldn't connect with each other. Could not get either computer to access the other.

It was easy to figure out, the firewall software was blocking the connection. Just added the IP range of my computers to the Trusted list on each machine and all works fine.

Have you tried that?

All computers in the same Workgroup? Tried using NetBeui on the machines?
