I did an extensive Google search and couldn't find a solution to my problem.
My PC is using Media Center Edition 2005 and I am trying to schedule the PC to shutdown at a certain time.
It states that Access Is Denied, with a 0x8007005 error message.
A few people on the net said that a password MUST be set in order to use the scheduler. I hate to break it to them, but I have 2 PCs here that don't have passwords for the admin accounts and the task scheduler is letting me schedule tasks without any problems.
So what gives? FYI this PC has a fresh MCE install so nothing should be affecting it other than default Microsoft settings.
