:disgust: I just installed Windows XP Pro. Now, when I go to a site that has a pop-up (or sign-in window) or click on a a link on a site, I get a blank window. Even when I click the "Preview" button to preview this post, I get the same blank window. It has "Windows Internet Explorer" and the reduce and close windows icons. That's all. I am running windows Explorer 6.0.26.

Please help!!!

I received the following reply from Microsoft:

Based on the information, this behavior is likely related to the Urlmon.dll file is not registered. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type "Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\urlmon.dll" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.

NOTE: There is a space between regsvr32 and c:\windows\system32\urlmon.dll

3. When prompted with the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

4. Restart the computer.

The issue should be resolved at this point.

We encountered several similar issues before and most of them are resolved by the above method.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
