XP Pro installation with SATA Drive

Is there anything different about loading windows xp with a SATA drive in relation to setting it up with an IDE drive?

i didnt need to do anything, tho i used a customized XP install with all the updates aand fixes rolled into it, IDK if that made a difference tho

yeah i had to use f6

clarification: you may need to load your SATA drivers from a floppy disc in the windows installation.

I haven't had to use F6 on either of my Abit MBs (AN7, IC7-G), for loading Windows XP on a 36GB Raptor or 160GB Seagate SATA HD.
