XP Pro: HIDClass error

funpatch

Junior Member
Running XP Pro with full updates (including SP2). I keep getting this error on one of the computers here at work:

'Drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)

HIDClass

An error occurred during installation of the device. The data is invalid.'

It's something to do with the mouse I take it, (human interface device, right?) But I can't seem to nix the stupid thing. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.
