XP Pro hawe any fax program inside ?

Hi , i want to buy Symantec Winfax Pro 10.02 but i can see inside XP Pro that i hawe a Fax program ,..is this a real fax program or some settings only ?
And if is a real program it is any good or better to buy Winfax Pro , i found one 0em for only 14 $
