XP Pro Doesn't Start Up - Det + Via

I just installed WinXP pro yesterday on my 1.33 Epox8k7a 512 Crucial DDr system, and everything was good. Then, this morning, for no other reason than a sadistic desire for problems, I installed the latest Viatech drivers as well as the latest Detonator drivers. Now WinXP does not start up - it goes to the nice blue screen with 'XP is now starting up' logo, the mouse pointer appears, and nothing else happens. I can move the mouse around, but the screen never changes, alt-ctrl-delete doesn't work, etc. Any solutions? Is there a safe mode? How do I fix this? Thanks

Hit F8 for start mode just after POST and you can now go into safe-mode. I think you can find your way from here, if not, drop a line. 🙂

Try Last Known Good from the Advanced Startup menu (when you press F8), its made for things like this. I had issues too, but my computer locked up UNTIL I installed the drivers. Sorry.
