This is roughly comparable to problems I've been seeing here on XP - DMA and Scsi.
On my system, it loads the Via busmaster drivers,with a Primary & secondary devices. These conflict with a SCSI and Raid controllerdrivers (devices that aren't even there) right down the line- IRQ's, IO Ranges, etc. I've tried to remove the SCSI and Raid controllers- However XP won't let me. I can remove the Via Drivers- but on restart it sets them back up with the same conflict.
I really would like to get at least my hard drive up and running to proper speed- according to Sandra it's slower than a ATA33......
