A while ago, I had a problem with an employee who surfed the internet at work, was on porn sites, even when everyone was in the office. I monitored his activites, but that was when we were on WinNT. WE confronted him about it, and he stopped for a while. NOW we are on win XP PRO, and now I cant check what hes doing on his computer from my computer, due to XP preventing sharing of personal folders, etc. (Is there a way around that??) When I go to look at his history at his computer, its wiped out. Even his pulldown on the IE bar is completely clean. I know he uses it for work, but he is purposely clearing it everytime he leaves his computer to go to the bathroom, lunch, at night, etc. Hes obviously covering his tracks. Is there any way he can be prevented from clearing his history?

Any other ideas?

Are you a domain admin? You should be able to see everything on his drive by going to \\compname\c$

when I do that, it asked for a password, but some computers dont have a password, and I tried it with ones that do, and it didnt work either. What password would it be looking for?

ugh, peer-to-peer.

Well, any account with local administrative access to that machine should work. As the network admin, I'm assuming you have administrator passwords for each machine (at least I hope).
