XP Pro, 1 Wireless G card, and two network devices using different security, can both connect at once?

My 802.11g network uses WPA-PSK security for router to workstation communications, but my new 802.11g print server only allows the use of WEP.

Is is possible to set network profiles or something of that nature in XP to allow one PC to connect to both devices using one wireless network card? I'm not dropping WPA-PSK just to accommodate one device, but I'd like to be able to use this print server.

Wireless networking works on the least common denominator. If one device on the network runs at 802.11b, all devices will. If one device can only use WEP, all devices must use WEP in order to communicate.

In order to use that print server with WEP and still have WPA-PSK on your primary router, you'll need to put a second wireless adapter in the PC and have it connect directly to the print server using WEP (bypassing the router). Either that or completely disconnect from your router and connect up to the print server whenever you want to print.

Thanks, I thought it might be that way, but I hoped there might be a workaround.

I may try a 2nd card.
