XP Preinstall ? - Do I need to load HPATA66 Drivers on a floppy?

In Win2K, I had to hit an F key at the very begining of the install to load High Point ATA66 Win2K drivers or the OS install would crash and not see my hard drive. Those of you with onboard ATA66 controller's know what I am talking about.

Thanks. So I will need the Win2K driver for XP? I am running a Soyo6BA+IV mobo under 98SE. At soyo, the only HP drivers are NT, 98 and 2K. No XP.

I assume Win2K drivers are the logical choice if no XP drivers are available?

Win2000 drivers first, if not available, WinNT

the 2000 1.25 drivers worked fine for me.

XP didn't seem to like the the beta 1.28 drivers for me.
