XP Plus problems....

I've been trying all day to install XP plus without success, i've downloaded two versions, burned it to CD-R's in a variety of ways but still can't get the bastard to work, is there anyone out there who has done this already and can help me.....i've already ruined a half dozen cd-r's trying to figure this out.

What kind of system do you have? Are you by any chance trying to install it onto a HPT370 RAID array? Give us more details about your hardware and we can help you.

Yeah, what doesn't work? I'm guessing you can't get the installation program to run at all since you keep trying to burn it differently. If you get one of the .isos, you want to burn an image and not just burn the file directly over. In Nero, cancel the wizard popup that first appears and select Burn Image from the file menu.

Why should that matter? I have XP Plus running on my 8K7A+ with dual 40's in Raid 0.

My personal opinion is that it is a winner. I had been running Win2K for a short time, but I had too many problems running some games and such. I down-graded to WinME for the past 2 months and just installed XP this weekend. It runs games like 98/XP but is a stable, if not more than 2K.
