XP Page file question

I have an older maxtor HD that runs at 7200rpm (no I cannot afford a new one right now)

Its partitioned into a 4 gig portion and a 16 gig portion.

The 16 gig portion holds all my games and fun files while the 4 gig portion holds all my operating system stuff, my utilities and serious programs.

Im running out of space on my 4 gig portion. I was wondering if it would hurt to move winxps pagefile to the 16gig portion. Also since I have 512 megs of ram. I was wondering how much actual swapfile I need. Right now its set to windows default.

yes you could move it to the other partion.

yes you could probably reduce the size of the swapfile as the windows default is probably using 768MB right now. Depending on usage I would recommend anywhere from 384 to 768 (more if you have larger or many apps).
