Whenever I am running a game and I Alt+Tab out to the desktop, I cannot do any kind of typing in any program, browser, whatever, without getting the Microsoft error report tool coming up and closing the program in which I was trying to type. So, setting up online games and all using the EA Sports multiplayer match-up, which uses a java window to hook players up, is impossible because when you go to chat with people, the window locks and closes with the error report thing. Try this for me...
Start a game. Once in the games main menu, hit Alt+Tab to exit back to the desktop (with the game you started in the background running). Open up Wordpad and try to type something. This is where mine will lock that program and ask to send the error report, and then close that program (Wordpad). I would appreciate it. Also, if for some strange reason yours doesn't lock and does allow you to type freely in any program, tell me what version of XP you have. I am currently using the home edition. Thanks!
