XP or 2k for an older box

I know XP will run fairly smoothly on the machine at that rate, but I'm tempted to run 2k on it instead because of XPs larger over head. It's really not going to be a gaming rig, as it's severly limited by the GeForce 2 MX 400 on it, but I'd like to get what I can out of it.

Just looking for a vote on which I should run.
 
What are you going to use it for? XP SP2 is more secure than W2K, but if its just gong to be an Internet browsing, low usage type PC, why not XP?
 
go for XP. I'm running it on a P3-450 with 128mb sdram. kids PC, so its okay with them
as long as they can surf the internet and write word documents
