won't do you any good
already have it set up
C:\ win98SE on 9 gigs
D:\ win XP pro 12 gigs

Was having problems getting my controller to work.(sidewinder)This made playing NHL 2K2 very ugly as you have no controller and you are stuck to keyboard for controlling. so I thought I had a bright idea, one drive for video editing and internet surfing(XP) and one for gaming (98SE).Thought it would reolve my problem since controller works fine in SE,but won't install on XP.THOUGHT WRONG!!!First Roller Coaster Tycoon stopped working on 98 SE Then NHL2k2,and the rest of my games.DAMN YOu MICROSOFT,DAMN YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL"!!!!

As far as I know, you can't install windows98 on D: It must be C: How about making C: 5 gigs and D: 35 gigs, put windows98 on C: (make sure you do this first) and then put windows XP on D: XP will autodetect 98 and ask if you want to dual boot.

p.s. why can't you game in XP?

nvidia drivers has a problem with xp, when u starrt the 3d game u get a bsod infinite loop error. i am not alone, lots of users have this problem i noticed... via blames nvidia too cuz it happens on non via systems...

anyways i just put 98 on c: and xp on d: and made em 20 gigs each

OK, here is a solution that "may" work, cross your fingers.
Start fdisk in the dos environment, delete all existing partitions and set them up again. It would promt you to boot. Assuming you have a boot Cd or floppy, format only d: Then as c: would not exist, or rather unaccessible, try installing windows in d:. In this case, as setup won't have any option, we would have to wait and see if it does install 98 on d: or splurge out some bullsh*t error. Let me know if this works cause even I haven't seen anyone installed win98 on d:
