XP not returning system resource!!!???

Running Xp Pro here. I have coolinfo running and showing me ram used and pagefile used among other things. The ram usage and page file usage just keeps going up an up. Up time is @ 2 days now(had to reboot cause i ran bootvis 🙂) .

anyways anytime i run a program it only returns like half it used?

I'll let you know in like a week if the problem continues. If so we need SP1!!!

Well, I can tell you that one problem I found are those thumbnails that Windows XP produces for Video and image files in the folders. It will produce the thumbnail, but never releases the memory when you leave or close the folder with the image or video files in it. I can start with 100 megs being used and after going through my art files and video files, it will be up around 300 megs used, and it won't release it. It will stay that way until I restart my machine or log off of my account and re log on.
