My dad's computer is having a problem that I don't know how to solve.
First off, he's using XP Home. Under "Set Program Access and Defaults" it's Custom. Everything is pretty much MS (Outlook Express, Media Player, etc.) except for Firefox being his browser. So far, everything works fine except when he goes to Tools>Read Mail in Firefox, it does nothing. The kicker is that it's same way in IE as well, absolutely nothing. And, in IE's options under Programs, there is no options to select for a mail client, but Outlook Express is certainly set as the news reader.
The other part is that in Firefox when he clicks "New message" it gives him a window to select his Outlook (the Office version) profile, but I can't even find Outlook anyware on the hard drive and it's never an option to select in the Program Access and Defaults.
So, all he wants to do is for IE and Firefox and to able to recognize and open up Outlook Express. Can anyone help us with this?
Much appreciation! Thank you!
Peace,
Dave
