XP & Norton Live Update

Hi,

I have reinstalled Norton system works 2001 after installing XP and then applied the SEVINST.EXE patch. I am able to run Norton antivirus but, the live update feture does not work. I get the following error:

LiveUpdate could not create a temporary directory
LiveUpdate could not create a directory to store temporary files. Make sure you have create and write access to the Windows 95\98 All Users directory or the Windows NT$0 Profiles directory.

Any idea what's wrong. I have administration authorization in my user profile. (I am new to NT, 2000 and XP)

I had the same problem. Go here and get the lusetup.exe file. Uninstall your current LiveUpdate from the control panel and run the lusetup. It'll install a new LiveUpdate and you'll be good as new.
