Hello,
I personally have Windows 7 64 PRO, and my sister still has the XP...nothing wrong with that, it took me long time to make it to Win7, I loved XP.

She says,
"When I right-click the attachment...Jukebox license agreement pops up saying I have to agree to the installer to use the program...it is not giving me a choice for WMP."

In win7, When I click on a video like a Mpeg4,or AVI files, a drop down appears and asks me which player to use, For me, it's Winamp, Windows Media Player, Nero, or the Quicktime player.

But when she tries this in XP, the only thing she sees is a JUKEBOX License agreement for a program download for this player. She does not want jukebox. Winamp for me plays back only avi files, not MPEG, I'd have to use the (WMP) Windows media Player for those files.

Quicktime will playback my AVI files, but not MPEG, it does not understand, it tells me. So basically, I use Winamp for AVI's, and WMP for my MPEG playback.

She tells me her Windows Media Player does not even show up on her XP drop down list. She tells me she also does not see the 'OPEN WITH" option.

She lives too far for me to hop on over there and help her, so I'm asking if by going to ADD/REMOVE Jukebox from her program list (if it's there) or going to Program files, she can delete this prompt or program from her computer and happening again and again? Will this also make Windows Media Player her default player, or does she have to click on a video file and choose which default player an play these files?
I don't think she's got anything else but Windows Media Player. Is there such a 'beast' that is easy to use (for her) and can play all types of mpeg, avi, video files?

She admits she's not that computer savvy.

Thanks for any help...and I'm very sure she thanks you too!

Uninstall Jukebox whatever that is. It sounds like crapware, and install VLC. That should play just about everything.

MusicMatch Jukebox? That program used to be useful, now it's just crapware.

(I once paid for a full boxed version of the program. Got it off the discount pile somewhere. 5.x allowed tuning a lot of cool internet radio stations worldwide, but then they took that feature out of later versions.)
