I have encountered a mysterious and puzzling problem.

I have 4 Desktops running Window XP in a
WORKGROUP network configuration and recently
I noticed changes made to network files from PC#2
do NOT reflect on any of the other PCs in the
workgroup.

It almost seems like the files and folders
are out of sync and outdated somehow...

All computers run fine and can access the internet.
All computers can access the network and see the files
and folders of all that are shared in the workgroup...

But for some reason any changes on the network
folders from Computer#2 does not reflect on
any of the other computers. It's almost
like computer#2 lives in a different timeframe
or different world from the rest of the computers

What could be causing this ?

I forgot to mention:

Within the context of 4 PC's running XP networked in a workgroup:

There is a network folder named " Folder1" stored on PC#1.
All four PC can see and make changes to "Folder1"

Recently I noticed that when PC#2 attempts to view
the contents of "Folder1" it appears to be "Folder1"
from a month or so AGO! PC#2 can add and delete
files from "Folder1" and from #2's perspective it is done.
However back on the actual PC the folder is stored on, there
is no real change whatsoever.

Whenever any of the other PC's make changes to
"FOLDER1" it takes effect and the change is "real",
however that change is not updated or reflected
from PC#2.

No other PC's have any problem. Just with PC#2,

why is this?
