XP network sharing problems

Hey all,

My roomie and I are trying to share some files. We both are running XP and don't have a clue how to network the two computer together. I've networked fine before on a win9x machine, but XP is new to me. We are using a Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router and before we upgraded, I was able to see his computer. What will I need to do in order to get that to happen again? Both computers are under the same workgroup, same subnet, and file and printer sharing is enabled. Am I missing something?

Right click on one of the drives, and select "sharing...". When you do that, a security wizard will pop up and walk you through the steps required to set up a share on your machine. By default, XP disables drive sharing for security purposes, and you have to open that up some....
