XP Mode - Possible to Change Link Handling?

Hello,
I run Office 2003 in XP Mode because Nortel hasn't caught up with the rest of the world and one of their plugins that works with outlook requires an xp environment.

So, folks get a link in an email from an associate, open it and... xp mode internet explorer.

Is there any way to change the default handling of links and force them to open up in Windows 7 while running in xp mode?

This could work if I could figure an easy way to grab links out of heavily formatted emails that display in outlook.

Is there an easy way?

That's one thing for me. Totally different thing to explain to some of the support staff who cringe at learning new things, no matter how easy.
