Gotta new cpu and D-Tek water setup coming, wondering how far these are going on water? Guessing you can push the voltage a bit further.. I know "YRMV", BUT.. Anyone going over 2.6-2.7?? =)

Just hopin to start off w/ a 2.5 And hopefully this chip will do as well as my 1700+ does (I think a 2.2g OC is decent...)

Thanks for any input. Will try to let ya know how it goes when I do get this setup.

Stepping is important. Alot of people with the 2600+'s get good OCs because of the IQYHA steppings common with those chips.

heres a oc database
people are getting better than 3 gigs out of bartons at decent voltages
but man if your cooling failed at that speed a great big ball of fire may just erupt from your case

I turned my system on once without my water pump being on (before I had the pump on a relay). The bios over temp protection shut down my system and there was no damage.
