XP Logon Loader (change logon screen) Problem

Im using a clean install of XP Professional and have nothing on the computer except office and some MP3's. I just downloaded some new Logon screens, and this program that lets you change your Logon screen called Logon Loader. The default logon screen works fine, smooth and fast, no problem. The Logon Loader program does what it is supposed to, it changes the Logon screen to what I wanted, however the new screen is very slow and jerky when logging on. When I revert back to the original Logon screen, everything is nice and fast again. Anyone have experience with this program? Is it supposed to be this slow? Whats up wit dat?
