XP keeps checking the same two drives upon booting.

Right after I upgraded my BIOS to 1004 on my A7N8X delux windows XP indicated that it has to ckeck the two partitions I have on my slave drive for consistency. I can either esc or let windows do its check and XP boots fine into windows. There doesn't appear to be any issues with stability but this checking these two harddrives is a nusance. Incidently I have both of my HDs on the same channel. This wasn't an issue with my previous BIOS and I 'm not certain it is now.

Does anyone have a clue on how to get rid of this error?

thaks

make sure you're up to date on xp hotfixes and have sp1 installed. I think I recall a similar sounding issue being covered by a hotfix.
