XP Internet sharing quit on me

OutHouse

Lifer
Ok i dont know what else to do, Im not sure what the problem is. My wifes PC that connects to the internet through my PC just stopped connecting to the internet. I have replaced the NIC on my host PC and i just replaced the 100mb hub. I still cant ping the 3 PC's i have on my small home network. I have bounced all PC, Checked all services and all looks ok.

I am just not getting any comm over my wire and why i cant is driving me nuts. New NIC, New HUB, I brought home a continuity tester and my cat-5 test fine. I have goodl ights on the NIC and hub.

When i ping by name i get unkown

when i ping by IP i get timeouts.

I can not connect to my shares i have on a small file server i have.

When I unplug her wire from the hub, a message pops up saying "home" is now disconnected. WHen i plug the wire back in a message pops up "Home now connected at 100mb"

I just dont get it, even though i cant get her pc on the internet i should be able to ping within my own little network.

any suggestions?

Tell us more about your PCs like what OS? What are you using - a hub and ICS, or router. Why did you replace the NIC and the hub? Are they correctly installed. If you had to replace the hub why didnt you get a router.
