XP Installer Can't See HDD

Sorry for bothering you guys but I just cannot figure this out. I'm trying to install XP Pro and it can't see my HD's. I'm running a DPT Century raid card which probably has something to do with it.

I've tried dozens of different partition/format configurations. I've tried pressing f6 to manually load both NT and 2K drivers. I've tried everything I can think of and I just cannot get the installer to look at my HD's. Right now I'm copying the whole cd to the HD in the hope that if I install from the hd the installer will be "forced" to see it but it's not done yet so I don't know.

Does anyone have ANY ideas as to how I can get this XP Installer to find my hds? I've been searching the net for days but on this low-res old laptop it's extremely difficult to find much of anything, let alone how to detect a scsi raid from the XP Installer... Any help would really be appreciated.

Do you have the correct XP (or 2000 should work) drivers for your RAID card on a floppy? When you hit f6 it will ask you to specify drivers. Hit s then put the floppy in.

If XP still doesnt find the drives, then the driver is not XP compatible. In fact, you may want to check the HCL to see if your card is supported at all.
