XP Install Problems

I just uninstalled my 64-bit version of Windows XP, but now I cant install 32-bit XP. When I put in my one disc, my PC freezes. When I put in my XP SP2 disc, it allows me to format my hard drive, which I do, but then when it's copying the files to the hard drive, it can never copy driver.cab. That renders XP to be uninstallable. I can however install 64-bit Windows again with no preoblems. Is there some issue with my hard drives formatting?

Notice my sig says future sli system.

Update: I got XP installed using an old disc I found, but after the "Windows XP" screen with the loading bar on startup, I get a BSOD.
