Trying to do a fresh install for a friend on their pc. I have a "legit" version & a "not-so-legit" version. Neither would finish installing. Sometimes I got the BSOD about "if this is the first time you've seen this..." & other times I got "unable to find...." messages. I got these using both discs.
I don't know if it's possibly a bad hard drive, bad cd-rom, or perhaps bad memory.
Ideas? Suggestions?
