XP Hotfix-security updates question

Is there a way to save all those files to a cd? I would like to have them when and if I have to reinstall.

You can also integrate them on your install CD. See http://unattended.msfn.org for more info.

Since I have a 56k modem I don't ever want to download them again. Can I find them on my computer and copy them to a cd?

No, you can't recover the hotfix from your computer after installing it. The installer is deleted after the fix is installed.

My bad; I assumed the OP was trying to get the installer after using Automatic Updates.

Each of the security updates is individually downloadable from the Microsoft website from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads. (Or from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security))
