xp home -> xp pro

i've heard that i can turn my xp homecd into an xp pro disk and use it as such as long as i have an xp pro cd-key (which i do, but i want to use my straight win xp cd rather than the modded alienware one that came with dad's laptop). how can i make my win xp home cd into pro, to then slipstream in sp2 and mod with nlite?
